vintage silver-plate monogrammed jewelry box

This charming unpolished silver-plate jewelry box with wood lining is perfect for storing special pieces. The inside of the lid has what seems to be an aged mirror finish. Monogrammed with the letters H Z W.  Makes a lovely gift.

The box has a stamped makers mark on the back: Old English Reproduction (in a three part banner), B.P. , a picture of an oil lamp (genie lamp), E.P. on copper (indicates electroplate on copper), B.M Mounts (indicates Benedict Mfg. Co.), Made in Canada, and 97.

As found, lots of patina - unpolished with tarnish and wear includes fine scratches on the surface. Lovely box.
