About

Step into a shop filled with vintage objects for your home and garden – vintage ceramics for plants and flowers, artworks and handcrafted objects, the soft touch of old linens and textiles, books, baskets, ironstone bowls and dishes for the kitchen and mid-century cocktail glasses for entertaining.

I love the history and stories behind vintage pieces, from a book inscribed with a special message to a mended ironstone platter. Many of these things come from a time when they were made by hand, and sometimes, there are imperfections, but that's part of its character and charm.

Our aesthetic is about mixing old and new and reimagining how to incorporate found or inherited heirlooms into our modern lives. Well-loved and timeworn pieces add a unique warmth and patina and bring a reassuring comfort to our homes that's more sustainable.

While we love a collection and a well-styled home, we also think that vintage objects can find new purpose. We encourage you to make found objects a part of your everyday life. Repurpose small plates by gifting them with a pretty bar of soap, fill an antique sugar bowl with a petite bouquet, or use to corral teaspoons in your coffee nook.

At Foraged Home and Garden, we hope you delight in the thrill of the hunt and discover treasures that will infuse your home with curiosity, history and the charm of something second-loved.

We are independently owned and operated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Our vintage and antique pieces are hand picked and one of a kind. Given their age, items may have imperfections and wear from previous use. We think this adds to their charm - after all these pieces have been previously used and enjoyed. Wear and patina is what makes these items unique and is part of their appeal.

Each item is inspected and any flaws or wear is noted in the product listing. If you have any questions about the condition of a piece please contact us at hello@foragedhomeandgarden.ca before purchasing.
