This pretty brown and white transferware design depicts a windmill, flowers and trailing ivy. Made by J.H. Davis of Trent Pottery in England in the late 19th century.
This petite dish makes a lovely hostess gift. Pair it with a special bar of soap, use as a jewelry or trinket dish, or a pinch dish for salt.
4.25" x 4.25". The centre area of the dish measures 3" x 3".
Marked J.H. Davis banner and Victor. The R (registered) No. 22036.
As found, in nice antique condition, note the patina and the older hairline mark visible in the seam of the dish, but otherwise in good condition.
Soap not included.
