Pretty green Akro Agate pressed glass flower pot or planter - art deco era.
4" diameter, 3.5" tall and has a 2" diameter at the base.
Akro Agate was founded in Akron, Ohio in 1911 and moved to West Virginia in 1914. The company was initially known for its glass marbles and eventually started to make other products including children's tea sets, vases and flowerpots in the 1930's.
Akro Agate products are commonly mistaken for Jadeite but you can often tell the difference by the swirl that you can sometimes see in the glass - a kind of marble effect.
Marked on the bottom: Made in the USA 256 and the Akron Agate logo ( a crow flying through the letter A).
