A tiny pill or trinket box found at a brocante in Brittany, France. A lovely decorative item.
The metal box has a nice patina with an elegant smooth black lid. I'm not certain what the lid material is.
Due to its age and wear on the metal interior would not be considered food safe but would make a lovely decorative item or perhaps useful for travel to hold earrings or rings.
