Lovely details on this antique wicker and glass decorative tray with charming bird motif barkcloth fabric under a clear glass surface. Likely from the Arts & Crafts period (c1880-1920) with a fabulous Bloomsbury-esque feel.
Barkcloth fabric - brown background with bird and floral motif in dusty pink, cream and beige in muted tones.
It's sturdy but due to its age and the fragility of a glass insert it is recommended for display purposes or very light use. Love the idea of incorporating it into a gallery wall or similar.

As found, in lovely antique condition. The glass and wicker are in perfect condition and the fabric is lightly faded as per age.
