A lovely piece of English teal transferware from the late Victorian era made by J & G Meakin pottery in Hanley, England. A hand-gilded scalloped rim, delicate floral and scroll motifs that extend across the exterior. This charming dish is well over a century old, dating from 1890 -1910.
Originally used as a serving dish, this 130+ year-old dish is ideal for bread, tabletop display, or as a functional catchall.
9.5” long / 7.5” wide / 2” tall
In lovely condition, with some wear and crazing. *Please see last photo showing wear and some glaze wear and surface marks on one top side.
