Lovely antique English transferware butter dish teal blue design on white with a scalloped edge.
Price per one dish.
Made by J & G Meakin in Hanley, England. This darling dish is well over a century old and getting more difficult to find. They are a treat to add to your collection. These date to 1890 -1910.
Use them again for butter or keep handy on your bedside table for rings, as pinch bowls for salt and pepper or as a collection displayed on a wall or shelf.
2.75" diameter
Marked on base: Sèvres / Hanley, England / J&G Meakin
As found, in lovely condition for age and use. Some minor wear as shown in photos. There is a blue mark on upper left of dish that is an original flaw made during the transferware process where the colour smudged a little.
