Lovely antique English transferware butter dish in teal blue by J&G Meakin in the Sevres pattern featuring a teal blue design on crisp white porcelain with an elegant scalloped rim.

Handcrafted in Hanley, England between 1890–1910, this darling dish is well over a century old and becoming increasingly difficult to find. They are a treat to add to your collection.

As found, in lovely condition for age and use. Some minor wear as shown in photos. There is a blue mark on upper left of dish that is an original flaw made during the transferware process where the colour smudged a little.
