A charming antique Alfred Meakin floral serving set hand-painted by Afred Clough - 4 small plates and platter. Hand-painted blue and orange flowers with yellow centres on cream with black rim.
A lovely dessert or appetizer serving set dating from between 1905-1913.
This set was produced by Alfred Meakin Pottery and decorated by Alfred Clough who purchased pottery from establish ed potteries such as Meakin and hand painted his designs on to the dishes at his pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. After 1913 he began production of his own pottery.

In lovely condition with some light wear including small mark and minor paint loss to black rim of platter an platter. Mild crazing on one small dish.
