A charming antique floral serving set featuring hand-painted blue and orange flowers on cream with black rim.
A lovely dessert, afternoon tea or appetizer serving set dating from between 1905-1913.
This set was produced by Alfred Meakin Pottery and decorated by Alfred Clough who purchased pottery from established potteries such as Meakin, and hand painted his designs on to the dishes at his pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. After 1913 he began production of his own pottery.

In lovely condition with some light wear consistent with age, including small mark and minor paint loss to black rim of platter an platter. Mild crazing on one small dish.
