This rare original antique 119-year old colour chromolithograph dates to 1906 and depicts a pretty purple mauve phlox canadensis - Perry's Varity.
This beautiful print was designed and printed by W.H. & L. Collingridge of London, for Amateur Gardening magazine as a supplement in February 3, 1906.
The exquisite original chromolithograph print is beautiful with bright, crisp colours, blank on the reverse.
Perfect to frame and display on its own or fabulous as a grouping. Lovely to frame in a mounted floating style without matting.
It measures 8.5" x 11 3/4".
In lovely antique condition with aging and a few characteristic patina areas of wear including very faint shadow of text that appeared to have transferred to the paper (quite charming) and mild creases - commensurate with its age and the fragility of antique paper. Please refer carefully to photos.
This listing is for one original print.
