This rare original antique 119-year old colour chromolithograph dates to 1906 and depicts three pretty white narcissus with yellow corona (centres) - Narcissus Burbidgei 'John Bain', Narcissus Leedsi "Katherine Spurrell' and Narcissus Poeticus "Almira'.
This lovely print was "drawn from nature" and printed by W.H. & L. Collingridge of London, for Amateur Gardening magazine as a supplement in October 27, 1906.
The exquisite original chromolithograph print is beautiful with bright, crisp colours, blank on the reverse.
Perfect to frame and display on its own or fabulous as a grouping. Lovely to frame in a mounted floating style without matting.
It measures 8 3/4" x 12 1/8"
In lovely antique condition with aging and a few characteristic areas of wear which is commensurate with its age and the fragility of paper, including very faint text which appears to have transferred to the page (quite charming). Please refer to photos.
This listing is for one original print.
