A beautiful blue transferware pitcher made by Alfred Meakin in England. A pretty leaf motif runs down the handle and a bucolic countryside scene wraps around the body of the jug.
6” tall, 5.5” from handle to spout
Stamped “Tintern” Alfred Meakin England, 36 is embossed (see photo)
As found, in lovely condition. The interior of the jug is pristine. However, there are two small chips on base. No detectable crazing.
