Antique Victorian-era English Majolica sugar bowl with lid with a pretty Japanese-inspired design featuring a fan, bird and cherry blossoms - typical of aesthetic movement design.  A lovely palette of colours. Dates to approximately 1880-1890.

A fabulous display or storage piece. 

5.25" tall with lid / 5" long / 4.25" wide / 2" x 3" opening

The bowl is in lovely antique condition, inside and out. *Please note that the handle on the lid has a very old chip - typical of a piece of this age. See images.
