Antique French ironstone blue transferware plate - 'Chartres' by Faiencerie de Longwy

A pretty French ironstone (terre de fer) plate made by Longwy in a blue and white floral transferware pattern, 'Chartres'. A lovely shade of blue with delicate floral motifs, wildflowers and botanical borders.  

Late 19th century, likely 1890's. Made in France by the Faiencerie de Longwy, one of France’s most historic and prestigious ceramic manufacturers. Founded in 1798 by the Boch family in Lorraine, northeastern France,

Condition - in nice antique condition with warm, age related patina including light centre browning and wear typical of antique ironstone of this age. No chips.
